MAMA DRAMA : A Journey with Bipolar and Dementia, Finding Light Through Loss and Grief

Sheri Smith’s Mama Drama: A Powerful Memoir on Mental Health and Caregiving

I’d like to give a heartfelt shout-out to my dear friend and colleague, Sheri Smith, who just published her book: Mama Drama – A Journey with Bipolar and Dementia. I had the honor of writing the foreword for this deeply personal and courageous memoir.

Sheri, a fellow creative in our industry known for her delightful picnic and chocolate fountain business, opens up about her journey in a way that is both raw and inspiring. As you turn the pages, you realize that many of us may be navigating similar challenges while running our businesses—often silently. We never truly know what others are going through, yet somehow, they persevere.

In a time when conversations around mental health are becoming more open, Sheri’s story serves as a powerful reminder that through vulnerability, strength can be found. Her journey may provoke thought, spark empathy, and inspire resilience in all of us.
