Our Interview with Marc Weinstock of Pacific Event Services:

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Coffee, check the stock market and get to my emails!

What’s your all-time favorite movie?

Coming to America, Back to School, Caddy Shack, Trading Places–it’s hard to pick.

What’s one thing you love about the event industry?

I love the thrill of problem solving and logistical puzzles.

Tell us about your pet(s).

I have a one-year-old Bengal who thinks he is a large dog. He walks on a leash, plays fetch with the ball and only likes other large dogs.

What’s your day-to-day look like right now?

We are in full production mode between our multiple drive-in movie locations and our comercial holiday programs. Everyone is back full-time, and they have all adapted quite well to our daily COVID protocols for a safe and responsible work environment.

What’s your favorite quote to live by?

“Everything affects everything!” Its rule no. 1 in event production.

Describe your favorite meal.

Sugarfish. Trust me–enough said.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Other industries. It’s good to be able to adapt, learn and grow from other people and companies than those you are constantly surrounded by.

Where can we find you?

Our team wears gloves and masks while on the premises. They wash hands hourly at minimum and sanitize the kitchen frequently throughout each day using EPA-approved disinfectant for the fight against COVID-19.

Our food has always been prepared on-site daily to ensure freshness and upmost safety standards. Ordering and payment are done through our website so that our guests can enjoy contactless curbside pick-up.
