Our Director of Business Development Cindy Celis shares her five favorite things. Cindy is our newest addition to the Good Gracious! sales team, bringing a rich background in sales and client management. We cultivated a friendship with her after crossing paths in the events industry over the past 10 years. Needless to say, when we got word there was a possibility she would be available to join us, we immediately extended an invitation out for a visit to our headquarters. We truly feel lucky to have secured her talents to our team! In this short amount of time, we’ve experienced Cindy’s infectious and delightful personality. She builds an unbreakable rapport with clients that keeps them coming back time and time again. Her knowledge in planning and all things hospitality is also quite fabulous, to say the least.
When Cindy is not working, you will find her seated on association boards such as WIPA Clique, and Fete. She strongly supports education and the industry community. She finds it important to stay on top of the curve by seeking great new creative partnerships, venues and talent at every opportunity. Did we mention she also is married with three fabulous children? Keep scrolling to find out the products she swears by to suit her busy and successful lifestyle.
Cindy Celis Shares Her Five Favorite Things:
My Peloton has been the one thing that has kept me sane during COVID, and it was fortuitous that I received it as a birthday gift from my family last year. Little did I know that it would be my source of strength, my emotional outlet and a way to keep connected with others in my Peloton Community and in our event industry. I ride at least three times per week with my favs, @codyrigsby, @allymisslove, and @alextoussaint25 under my tags #celisstrong and #legendsoffun, but I also find inner peace with Peloton barre, yoga, and meditation for well-balanced zen.
I was never a perfume gal until 3 years ago when my husband bought my first Daisy Love. It was LOVE at first try with its warm floral fragrance featuring hints of berries and soft musk that remains on my skin for most of the day. This perfume makes me happy and special, not to mention I often get complimented on my lovely body aroma!
These gold bumble bee earrings with dangling pearl teardrops were a birthday gift from my beloved mentor Pauline (who happens to be what I call “our fearless leader and Queen”). Pauline said that bumblebees are good luck charms, and she happened to know pearls are my favorite gemstone, so I got lucky. I must admit that when I wear them, I feel bougie and confident–and boy do they look darn pretty on my earlobes.
Glamming for a night on the town or a networking event requires amazing eyelashes, and my go-to is these lashes created by a sweet 16-year-old named Deanna, who just happens to be one of my daughter’s besties. Having fabulous eyelashes is a must, and since I wear glasses, they accentuate my green eye color and make my eyes look bigger and brighter.
The 4 things my face never leaves home without:
I start with Concealer by Tarte which hides freckles, blemishes and occasional dark circles under my eyes. Then, I apply Tarte’s Kind Is The New Pretty Powder, which is a loose powder to give my skin a fresh, natural look. I highlight my face and cheekbones with Sugar Rush by Tarte. I love Tarte makeup because it stays on my face all day and doesn’t smear or melt with perspiration. Finally, I apply my everyday mascara to create the false eyelash look with Lash Sensational by Maybelline. I don’t ever leave home without it, and I get asked all the time if I’m wearing falsies because they really make my lashes look “luscious.”
