Joanne joins ICA Board of Directors



We are thrilled to share Good Gracious! Events Vice President, Joanne Purnell is now on the International Caterers Association Board of Directors!?


?Chartered in 2002 to be the philanthropic partner of the ICA, the ICAEF is a not-for-profit Foundation dedicated to providing educational opportunities for catering professionals and those desiring to become catering professionals. The ICAEF makes arrangements with various educational organizations, trade shows and institutions to teach courses of instruction in catering, food handling and areas related to the field of catering, and provide qualified teaching personnel for such purposes.??

Along with educating, the ICA encourages and provides opportunities for peer to peer relationships and inspires creativity, ?while embracing all segments of the catering industry.??


A little insider background for you! The ICA had a chef culinary council which stimulated a chef conference called Catered ARTs which Joanne filled the role as President. Catered ARTs is now known as the Art of Catering and is ran by Catersource! With the help of Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky this conference thrived for about five years.We can?t say enough how excited we are to have one of our own to be on ICA?s Board of Directors and we can?t wait to see what she will achieve!

We have smaller teams working in the kitchen so that everyone is adequately spaced 6 feet apart per WHO guidelines. We have also implemented temperature scanning upon arrival to our kitchen and encourage our staff to stay home and use company-paid sick hours if they are not feeling well.

Our team wears gloves and masks while on the premises. They wash hands hourly at minimum and sanitize the kitchen frequently throughout each day using EPA-approved disinfectant for the fight against COVID-19.  

Our food has always been prepared on-site daily to ensure freshness and upmost safety standards. Ordering and payment are done through our website so that our guests can enjoy contactless curbside pick-up. 

Our new packaging includes meal seals to ensure the food and drink items have not been opened or tampered with during the pick-up or delivery process.
